Katy Rosenthal Jackson is a Ph.D. candidate in the History of Art at Bryn Mawr College. She studies fashion and textiles in South Asia and China during the modern era, with an emphasis on material and cultural interchange. Her current research explores embroidered silk garments made in China for Parsi communities in western India beginning in the 19th century.
