The Dotty Brown Art & Nature Center
The Dotty Brown Art & Nature Center showcases original exhibitions that investigate our connections with nature through contemporary art, memorable objects and interactive experiences. This family-friendly center features changing exhibitions, hands-on displays and art making spaces. We encourage you to touch, play and explore!
Experience our living world anew in The Pod! Grow your awareness of nature, try on new ways of being and tap into your own creativity. Discover a life-size wire tree by sculptor Elizabeth Keithline that’s modeled on a live tree from PEM’s campus. Watch dancer Laura Kathrein move like different animals and embody local habitats. Or, create your own imaginary creature inspired by real animals and fantastic creatures from around the globe. What creative sense will you spark in your next visit to The Pod?
