Spend a week at PEM this summer!
Enrolling ages 8–13
PEM is excited to announce the return of Creative Kids, weeklong summer programs for children ages 8–13. Join us for a week of fin activities that aim to inspire students’ creativity while connecting them more deeply to the artistry, science and sense of community offered at PEM.
July 12–16: Ages 8–10
July 26–30: Ages 11–13
From Monday through Friday, 9 am–4 pm, students will engage in an action-packed program of hands-on art activities and explorations of PEM’s exhibitions and galleries, and create new art inspired by their experiences. Activities will be led by PEM teaching artists and will include games, visual arts activities, museum tours and writing workshops. Catered lunches and snacks are included. Each week will engage a maximum of 20 students.
The cost to participate is $550 per child per week, which includes catered lunch, snacks and art supplies.
Limited scholarships are available. Financial aid application coming soon.
What's special about Creative Kids:
- Immersion in art, nature and creativity.
- Hands-on exploration of visual arts, writing and multimedia.
- An Inside look at PEM’s exhibitions, collections and campus.
- Collaboration with teaching artists and peers.
- Friday family showcase celebrating kids' creations.
Activities run 9 am–4 pm, Monday–Friday. Drop-off begins at 8:30 am, with pick-up at 4 pm and late pick-up by 5 pm for an additional fee.
Program fee includes catered lunch, snacks and supplies.
