      Creative Kids

      Monday, April 20–Friday, April 24, 2026, from 9 am–4 pm

Join us for PEM’s new weeklong youth arts programs!

PEM is excited to announce the launch of Creative Kids, a new series of weeklong, paid programs for children ages 11–13 during school and summer breaks that aims to inspire students’ creativity while connecting them more deeply to the artistry, science and sense of community offered at PEM. Each program centers on a specific theme. Our first two offerings are Creative Kids: Knowing Nature (April 20–24, 2026) and Creative Kids: Emerging Artists (July 13–17, 2026).

From Monday through Friday, 9 am–4 pm, students will engage in an action-packed program of hands-on art activities and explorations of PEM’s exhibitions and galleries, and create new art inspired by their experiences. Activities will be led by PEM teaching artists and will include games, visual arts activities, museum tours and writing workshops. Catered lunches and snacks are included. Each week will engage a maximum of 16 students.
