      Be inspired by Andrew Gn: Fashioning the World and let fashion educator Jay Calderin guide you through an inside look at the fashion design process.

      Engage in a creative workshop led by founder of Boston Fashion week Jay Calderin. His fashion design primer will be equal parts lecture, drawing demonstration and Q&A. Enjoy a professional introduction to the steps involved in developing a concept for a collection and follow along at home with your included materials kit.

      All are welcome. No previous drawing experience is necessary!

      Jay Calderin

      The Boston Globe refers to Jay Calderin as "a budding designer's best friend." He is a Co-Director of Education and a Senior Instructor at the School of Fashion Design in Boston, a Visiting Lecturer at the Massachusetts College of Art + Design and a Studio Arts instructor at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. He has been teaching for 30+ years. Besides his teaching work, Calderin is an author and the founder and Executive Director of Boston Fashion Week; his fashion design work has graced the pages of Vogue and Elle magazines, been acquired by the Peabody Essex Museum and been featured in the New York Times.
