      About our collaborator

      Bill Crisafi
      Bill Crisafi

Bill Crisafi is an artist whose world is stitched together with magic, folklore and a flair for the dramatic. Raised just outside Salem, Massachusetts, he grew up immersed in the legends of New England, where the history of magic and witchcraft continues to inspire his work. After earning degrees in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology and Fine Arts from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts & Tufts University, Crisafi began merging costume, illustration, sculpture and photography into a universe that is equal parts occult, camp and humor. What started as a fascination with fashion illustration and costume design evolved into a practice of bringing fantastical worlds and figures to life across multiple mediums. His work has been commissioned by musicians, filmmakers and institutions including Chappell Roan, Chelsea Wolfe, the Peabody Essex Museum, Heretic Parfum, Boston Seaport and Blumhouse Productions, among others. Now based in Chicago, Crisafi shares his playful, lighthearted creations with an ever-growing audience. His art reaches hundreds of thousands of people across social media platforms, inviting them into a space where witches, drag queens and folklore mingle with wit and imagination. He is the author of The Glam Reaper’s Guide to Slaying: Life Lessons for Rebellious Souls.
