      This event is open to all ages and all gender identities. Please be advised, this event deals with sensitive topics including gender-based violence and the death of transgender people. 

      Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is an internationally recognized annual day to commemorate the lives of trans, nonbinary and gender nonconforming people we have lost to anti-trans violence and discrimination. Organized and led by members of the trans community, this vigil will feature trans speakers and the traditional reading of names, followed by an open mic.

      This event is open to all ages and all gender identities. Supportive allies are welcome.

      Please note that attendees are prohibited from taking photos during the vigil.

      This vigil is presented by the North Shore Queer Network in partnership with the Peabody Essex Museum.
