Celebrate the Salem Arts Festival at PEM with a weekend of special events!
On Saturday, June 7, join us for free art making on Essex Street. We’ll be hosting the traveling art studio Creative Wanderings for mosaic making outside PEM’s front door. We’ll also be joined by Artists For Humanity, a Boston-based organization that trains and employs teens in creative fields of work and aims to transform communities through creative expression. Join them to help make a collaborative mural!
On Sunday, June 8, PEM will host a special pop-up photobooth inside the museum. Inspired by the opening of Jung Yeondoo: Building Dreams, Artists for Humanity designed an experience to let you step into your dreams.
Salem Main Streets and Creative Collective organize the Salem Arts Festival with support from Salem State University Center for the Creative and Performing Arts, the Peabody Essex Museum and many more sponsors.
