Join us for the next meeting of PEM’s book club to discuss The Hare with Amber Eyes with Karina Corrigan, Associate Director–Collections and the H.A. Crosby Forbes Curator of Asian Export Art.

"Edmund de Waal, a contemporary potter in London, tells the captivating true story of his Ephrussi ancestors, members of a prominent and wealthy Jewish family with ties throughout Europe. This deeply personal story is also a sweeping narrative about European politics in the 19th and 20th centuries,” Corrigan says. “The Hare with Amber Eyes is one of my most favorite books; I am so looking forward to rereading it and discussing it with all of you!”

PEMreads offers a place to share ideas about the books we read and how they, as another form of artistic expression, shape our views and invite us to explore other worlds. We hope you’ll join us!

Email rsvp@pem.org to register to attend.
