The Panorama Queer and Trans International Film Festival returns to the Peabody Essex Museum this January! Panorama showcases the work of emerging queer and trans filmmakers under 30 from across six continents. This community-led project reflects back the experiences of the queer community and shares the future-defining narratives of these remarkable young people. Panorama amplifies the work of young artists who continue to create boldly in the face of discrimination, bigotry and other attempts to silence them. Join us in the celebration of our community with an emphasis on joy and resilience. Queer Videography’s 7th festival welcomes members of the trans and queer community, allies and fans of new cinema from around the world!

Kick off the festival with us on Friday night with a special queer community gathering. Evening programming includes an opening reception event, networking and select film screenings with special guests. Throughout Saturday and Sunday, enjoy film screenings and additional programming.

This is an accessible festival; all films will be subtitled in English, labeled with content warnings and livestreamed. Please visit pem.org/access to request specific accessibility resources.

Please note: These films are not MPAA-rated; provided ratings are suggestions from Queer Videography. Please enjoy at your own discretion, and note that some films may not be suitable for children.
