Join us at Marine Hall Mercantile for a live painting session with Lynn artist Nick Demakes. Works from his Gentleman Bats series appeared in PEM’s 2023–2024 Bats! exhibition. Come watch him as he paints a new creature for his collection.
About our Collaborator
After graduating from Montserrat College of Art in 1994, artist Nick Demakes was able to pursue art within the horror and fantasy genre. His choices of medium are often as unusual as his subject matter. Over the years he has developed a process of blending traditional oils and acrylics with homemade pigments such as fruit juices and coffee grounds.
