Indigenous Peoples' Day
Know before you go
In-person event
Location: Main Atrium
Included with admission
Join us in celebrating Indigenous Peoples' Day and Native American arts and culture on October 13. Contribute to a large-scale, woven paper mural inspired by wampum belts and learn about the history of this traditional art form practiced by Northeastern Indigenous nations such as the Wampanoag, Massachusett and Narragansett peoples. Contribute an individual "bead" to the community arts project to convey personal messages of respect, gratitude or solidarity with Indigenous communities and the land.
