      Art supplies and seating will be provided. You are welcome to bring a water bottle.

      In the event of rain, this program will take place on September 20. If we need to cancel due to inclement weather, we will contact registrants by 9 am on the day of the event.

      Celebrate the abundance of nature in the Ropes Mansion Garden with forest therapy guide Nadine Mazzola. Ground yourself, slow down and experience the benefits of forest bathing, inviting a deepened sense of belonging and connection to the world around us. Then, create a nature weaving that you can take home with you, and join others in creating an ephemeral community nature weaving.

      Nadine Mazzola
      Nadine Mazzola

      Nadine Mazzola (she/her) is a forest therapy guide, expressive arts teacher and author of the award-winning book Forest Bathing with Your Dog. She has worked with conservation, educational and health organizations, speaking on forest bathing and conducting workshops around New England. She also leads team wellness retreats and advises businesses on how to incorporate nature into their wellness programs. A cancer survivor herself, Mazzola often works with groups affected by cancer. She is a senior trainer and advisor for the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy and has appeared on PBS, ABC and in The Boston Globe and Boston Magazine.
