      Last Stand at Dodge follows jazz/funk band Fats Hammond, which has played at the same Salem club every Tuesday night for 13 years. But when the band suddenly loses its residency, how can the musicians and their loved ones move on? This documentary is a loving portrait of four musicians and their community.

      About the filmmaker

      Beth Cloutier

      Beth Cloutier is an award winning Director and Director of Photography. Her work is included in permanent museum collections such as the ICA Boston and MOMA. Cloutier has been a part of award-winning TV, music video, commercial and documentary productions. A National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (The Emmy’s) former board member, her TV and film credits include the feature documentary Resynator, which won the Audience Award at SXSW 2024, The Advocates, Stranger Fruit, Borderline and Suitcase of Love and Shame. Her television series work includes Digital Addiction, The Breakout Kings, CNN’s The Sixties, PBS’ A Path Appears and Not In Our Town, Discovery Channel’s Bounty Wars, Food Network’s Chopped and the “Restaurant Divided” pilot, which became a multi-episode TV series. Cloutier is the founder of the online music video series Local Music Channel. She teaches filmmaking and cinematography workshops around the country and taught as an adjunct professor at Emerson College.
