
Angela Segalla, Interim Director of Collection Services
Angela Segalla is PEM’s Interim Director of Collection Services. With nearly three decades of experience in collections care and stewardship, she has dedicated her career to preserving, managing and providing access to museum collections.
Before joining PEM, Segalla played a key role in the relocation of the Art of the Americas collection at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and served in leadership positions including Executive Director of a historical society. Throughout her career, she has taught museum studies, consulted with museums on collections storage and management and helped institutions develop sustainable approaches to collections care and stewardship.
Segalla studied Museum Collections Management and Care at George Washington University and leadership at Cornell University. At PEM, she oversees the museum’s Collection Center, Collection Management and Exhibition Preparation and leads initiatives that support the long-term preservation, care and stewardship of the museum’s collections.
