Join us for a virtual conversation and art making workshop featuring the campy, eerie talents of illustrator and artist Bill Crisafi. Hear him talk about his creative process and how he’s inspired by Salem, and enjoy a hands-on art lesson.
What if you could turn your own insecurity into an adorable, campy character with a hilarious coping mechanism? Would that "monster" feel less scary and easier to face? In Crisafi's debut book The Glam Reaper's Guide to Slaying, we see his beloved characters face universal struggles and insecurities as they each embark on a journey to heal, overcome their personal demons and thrive in their own ways. Join Crisafi to create your own "little monster" character that embodies one of your personal struggles or insecurities, and then give your monster its own personality and hero's journey. Along the way, learn how Crisafi develops his characters and harnesses creativity and humor to cultivate self-love, empowerment and healing through design and storytelling.
