      Essex County Greenbelt is a nonprofit land trust that works to conserve the farmland, wildlife habitat and scenic landscapes within the 34 cities and towns of Essex County, Massachusetts. Greenbelt acquires and manages land to protect the integrity of our ecological systems, to maintain a base for local farmers growing local food, and to protect areas for outdoor recreation and education.
