The change of a season invites us into the practice of transition. We are always transitioning from one thing to the next. Whether it’s getting out of bed in the morning, changing careers or homes, the shifting of a relationship, or a myriad of other moments in life when our bodies know what to do when change is afoot.
Embrace this transition into a new season and get your groove on with movement teacher Joseph Machado in this livestreamed, four-part movement series designed with special audio prompts. You likely already have all the tools you need — a charged phone, headphones and your curious self. Whether you’re outside, in the Ropes Mansion Garden or at home, tune in and listen along as Joseph guides you through a unique dance experience. This time spent moving and dancing together is an opportunity to build or strengthen the embodied resources needed to be as fluid and receptive as possible with what it means to change.
Additional live movement sessions will be held Wednesday, June 23, and Friday, June 25. All recorded audio prompts will be available for listening after each event in case you miss them!
You will be asked to enter your cell phone number and create an account to receive a reminder text 30 minutes before event begins.
