Sound Healing Workshop inspired by The Great Animal Orchestra

Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 9-10:30 am

9–10 am: Sound Healing Workshop
10–10:30 am: Visit The Great Animal Orchestra exhibition (optional)
Members $5; nonmembers $10

In honor of our exhibition The Great Animal Orchestra, we invite you to join sound healer Lisa Kawski to experience the soothing energy of a sound bath with singing bowls, chimes, gong, drums, and bells. Sound vibration is a powerful tool to help recalibrate the body, mind and spirit. Kawski also offers gentle guidance through meditation that allows for turning inward and expanding outward. Feel yourself relax and melt away during this time dedicated just for you.

Please bring anything that will aid in your comfort — yoga mat, pillow, and/or a blanket. Following the sound healing workshop, be the first visitors of the day to immerse yourself in The Great Animal Orchestra!

This event is SOLD OUT

Please note: In accordance with the city of Salem’s public health mandates, masks and proof of vaccination (either a digital or physical copy) are required for all visitors. Further details may be found at Space is limited. Sealed water is permitted in the gallery during this workshop.

About the Presenter
Patricia Scialo

Lisa Kawski was introduced to the beauty of sound healing in 2016 when she was asked to play a quartz crystal singing bowl at a friend’s gathering. As she stroked the bowl, she felt the vibrations of the sound go through her entire body. She looked around to see if anyone else felt what she had – she instantly knew this was the instrument for her to share her “voice” – through singing bowls she would create her business, Sound Healing for the Soul. As she developed a following for her sound healings and frequent attendance at kirtans, she joined together with her partner to expand and embark on a spiritual path to include both sound healing and kirtan as her practice to share. Lisa now has incorporated her chanting of mantras into her sound healing practice.
