Audio Visual Production Assistant

We are seeking a part-time Audio Visual Production Assistant.  This position assists with all aspects of providing audio visual services for museum wide programs and events (i.e.: films, lectures, live performances, meetings, member events, and symposiums).  Major responsibilities include: coordinating the use of audio visual equipment by museum departments; operating audio visual equipment in a variety of museum venues; ensuring all audio visual equipment is in good working order by working with internal and external tech support; proactively work with museum staff to ensure smooth operation of AV equipment during scheduled programs and events; and working closely with the Integrated Media team on special projects.

Qualifications: A college degree in related technical field preferred or the equivalent combination of education and experience; requires strong technical, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills; experience working with all types of audio visual equipment and computer presentation software; digital photography and videotaping skills a plus.
