Join the Employee Experience team as an intern and learn how an Employee Experience Department operates at a large Museum. You’ll gain practical, professional office experience in a fast-paced environment. Employee Experience provides support to the Museum and its employees in areas such as benefits, recruiting, performance, training and compliance as well as onboarding and employee relations. You’ll assist with projects such as developing programs to offer our current and future interns. You’ll also contribute to our ongoing commitment to improve process within the department which could include research, auditing data. The intern will also assist with online job postings, processing resumes, scheduling interviews, working with volunteer and intern data, and planning staff events including wellness programs.
Internship Qualifications: Enthusiastic college student with course work and/or interest in pursuing career in Human Resources. Intern qualities should include: excellent attitude, focused, articulate, organized, self-motivated, and willing to assist with a variety of administrative aspect and projects. A detail-oriented individual with attention to accuracy, strong Microsoft Office skills, knowledge of basic office procedures (filing, photocopying, faxing, and data entry) and Internet research capabilities is essential. The intern must also be responsible with confidential and sensitive material. This internship requires a minimum of 14-21 hours per week.
