The East India Marine Associates (EIMA)
The EIMA Program
The East India Marine Associates (EIMA) of the Peabody Essex Museum represent the key benefactors of the museum’s annual giving program. EIMA members contribute $2,500 or more per year in funds that support the museum’s core curatorial, educational, outreach, exhibition, and public service activities.
In appreciation, EIMA members are invited to participate in an exclusive program designed to bring them closer to the heart of the museum, including its collections and staff. As a member of EIMA, you are invited to members-only previews and events and a private docent tour for you and your family plus four guests. In addition, you receive free admission for two adults and four guests to the museum for one year; free admission to the Phillips Library during public hours; 10% discounts in the Museum Shop, Atrium Café and Garden Restaurant; a complimentary subscription to Connections, PEM’s award-winning members’ magazine; reduced rates for programs; timely e-mail communications; complimentary admission to selected Maritime and National Arts museums across the country; and one Individual-level gift membership.
