80 Days: A Steampunk Celebration

Play Around-the-PEM Trivial Pursuit. Make a Steampunk leather bracelet using gears, keys and assorted items. Watch film clips hosted by Andrew Buckley, creator of the WGBH web series Hit and Run History, about circumnavigating the globe. Listen as Emperor Norton's Stationary Marching Band dances at the edge of reason and sings the song of society's fringe. And enjoy a tasting with Jessica Porto and Richard Morin, pastry chefs and co-owners of Brown Butter Bakery in Cambridge. They'll also demonstrate the making of Pâte à Choux, using steam as a leavening agent.

Cash bar. Entire museum, Atrium Café and Museum Shop open. Additional $5 surcharge to visit Fabergé Revealed.
