Tour Hats: An Anthology by Stephen Jones. Then make and design your own 100 percent merino wool felt hat using the 10,000-year-old technique. Learn how to form and sculpt a hat and discover the 3-D potential of the material. No experience necessary.
About the workshop facilitators
Lesley Hansard and Rebecca Welsh started Hansard Welsh Design in 1997. They have exhibited their felt hats and wearable art across the country at premier craft shows such as the Smithsonian Craft Show, Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show and numerous others. Their designs have been selected for publication, design awards and have appeared on The Martha Stewart Show.
