This fun, interactive program with books, movement, music, art and hands-on activities is designed for preschoolers and their caregivers.
Free with museum admission. For Salem Mass residents and children under 16 admission is free.
Join us every Wednesday in September & October for lots of fun at the museum! Check back for weekly program updates.
October 3rd
Join us as Heather reads "What If?" by Frances Thomas. Then stick around to make your own books!
October 10th
Come boogie down with bunnies and cows as Heather leads the Barnyard Dance! You will have a chance to make your own dancing animals after the story.
October 17th
We'll try to make scary faces of all kinds as Heather reads "Can You Make a Scary Face?" by Jan Thomas.
October 24th
Heather will tell the story of 5 Little Pumpkins and then you will get to decorate little pumpkins of your own!
October 31st
It's Halloween! Listen to Heather tell One, Two, Boo! by Kristen L. Depken and stick around for a spooky craft activity. Costumes are strongly encouraged for both children and adults!
November 7th
Come see Susie Magoozy, the Silly Storyteller, tell stories about Food! As always there will be a fun craft activity to follow.
November 14th
Heather is back to read a story about Turkey who gets into some trouble beofre Thanksgiving. This week's craft is also something you can eat!
November 21st
No PEM Pals. Happy Thanksgiving!
November 28th
Get ready for a silly story about a squirrel gathering acorns for the winter! As always a fun craft activity will follow.
December 5th
We'll be reading "Ginger Bread Baby" by Jen Brett followed by a fun craft activity!
December 12
The Boston Balllet will join us this week to read The Nutcracker and show off some of thier dance costumes.
December 19th
Heather will read Hurray for Today!: All About Holidays from the Cat in the Hat's learning library. As always a fun craft activity will follow.
December 26th
