Security Guards
We are seeking candidates for several part-time Security Guard openings. Our professional security staff is responsible for safeguarding and providing assistance to museum visitors and staff within and around the museum complex. In addition, security staff is responsible for enforcing all museum security policies and procedures to prevent theft and damage to PEM's notable collections, exhibits, and property. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and enjoy working with the public, while upholding a professional attitude at all times. Training and uniforms are provided.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in criminal justice or be enrolled in criminal justice program. Prior security experience or military service strongly preferred. Experience in a museum, cultural institution or non-profit organization a plus.
